On 17 May 2023, a Special General Meeting of Nepal Geotechnical Society was held at Entrance Café, Lalitpur to discuss annual activities and financial report of the year 2022 and to elect a new team of executive officials. – Executive meetings will be held at least once a month.
– The lecture program will take place either once a month or in sets of 2 lectures over a 2-month period, aligning with festivals and work schedules. The format of the lectures can be either physical or virtual. We strongly encourage individuals with expertise in geotechnical engineering, academic research findings, and relevant work experience from around the world to participate as speakers for these lectures.
– NGS members will have the opportunity to attend two training/ workshops annually, with a notification period of 15 to 30 days in advance.

- Guideline preparation for NGS member’s recommendation and participation in international conferences organized by ISSMGE and other societies/institutions.
