On February 25, 2024, Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) successfully hosted the ‘NGS Global Virtual Meet-2024’, marking a significant milestone in fostering global cooperation within the field of geotechnical engineering.

The virtual gathering served as a pivotal platform for these global Nepali professionals to reconnect with their roots and engage with their homeland’s geotechnical community. Through a structured agenda, participants were introduced to the ongoing initiatives of NGS and offered a glimpse into the society’s upcoming international conference, “GeoMandu 2024.” The event also facilitated participant introductions and encouraged the sharing of views, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas.
