Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) and Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) are delighted to announce the kickoff of the “Indo-Nepal Webinar Series for Geotechnical Excellence,” an initiative following the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both societies. This series marks the beginning of a collaborative journey aimed at strengthening ties and sharing knowledge between the geotechnical communities of India and Nepal.
Theme of the Webinar:
Hydro Tunnelling in the Himalayas
Objectives:
- Increase awareness and understanding of geotechnical engineering issues at an international level.
- Enhance networking opportunities for geotechnical professionals and researchers.
- Identify potential areas for collaboration and future joint endeavours.
- Dissemination of valuable knowledge and expertise to support the advancement of geotechnical engineering practices.
- Work as per the concept of the MOU signed between IGS and NGS in IGC 2023, Roorkee.
