We are pleased to announce that the Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) has received the Outstanding Society Award 2026 at the 21st International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering in Vienna, Austria (17 June 2026).
This year, the award was presented to two member societies worldwide: Australian Geomechanics Society and Nepal Geotechnical Society. The recognition is based on achievements, professional activities, and contributions during the 2022–2026 period and was selected through a competitive evaluation among 92 member societies of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
