The Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) proudly hosted the Geotechnical Model Competition 2024, a pre-event of GeoMandu 2024, on November 18, 2024, at Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur. 🎉 Event Highlights: 12 engineering models from 10 colleges, including Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, and Far Western University. 47 participants showcasing innovation and technical excellence in geotechnical engineering.

On 26 February 2023, Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) organized a Geotechnical Model Competition at the Pulchowk Campus of the Institute of Engineering as a pre-event of the First NGS International Conference Series, the GeoMandu. The competition was participated by seven engineering colleges in Nepal with seven geotechnical models presented and demonstrated by 40 undergraduate students.
