The 1st Geotech Asia 2025, held from October 7–10, 2025, in Goa, India, served as a dynamic platform for innovation and collaboration in geotechnical engineering. Nepali researchers and professionals actively presented their works on this global stage, showcasing Nepal’s growing expertise in geotechnical research and practice.
Representing Nepal, the Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) also attended the ISSMGE Asian Board Meeting, where Nepal proudly bidded to host the 11th Asian Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference (AYGEC) in 2027.
This participation reflected meaningful learning, exchange, and cooperation within the global community.
