The PLAXIS 2D and 3D Training Program was successfully conducted from 17 to 19 Poush 2082, with the objective of strengthening graduate level capacity in geotechnical engineering. Organized by the Nepal Geotechnical Society and supported by GeoInfra Research Institute and Universal Engineering and Science College, the three day program provided structured and intensive hands on training on numerical modeling and geotechnical analysis using PLAXIS 2D and PLAXIS 3D.
The program was attended by 20 participants, comprising 18 MSc Geotechnical Engineering students and 2 Bachelor level students. The sessions emphasized practical application of theoretical concepts, systematic interpretation of analysis results, and enhancement of professional analytical competence.
