On 14 November 2019 (Thursday, 28 Kartik 2076), the 7th monthly lecture series of Nepal Geotechnical Society was held in the premises of Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus. In this lecture series, we requested one of the masterminds of establishing Nepal Geotechnical Society back in early 1990s and the founding Vice President, Dr. Gyaneswor Pokharel, who is currently residing in the United States and working as a professional consultant engineer. The lecture topic was:

About 45 participants including the core and senior NGS members were present in the lecture program. Vice President Dr. Indra Prasad Acharya chaired the program which General Secretary Er. Mandip Subedi ran the program. In the end, senior member and Former President Er. Tuk Lal Adhikari was asked to put his remarks on the lecture content and close the program.
