Nepal Engineers\’ Association (NEA) organized a workshop entitled \”Resilient Dams and Tunnels for Economic Development\” together with the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation (DWRI), Society of Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms, Nepal (SCAEF, Nepal), and Nepal Geotechnical Society (NGS) on 6th December 2019 (Friday). The program was also attended by Minister for Water Resources and Energy Mr. Barsaman Pun as the chief guest.
In workshop, two papers were first presented on the topics of dams and tunnels by Er. Mohanath Acharya and Prof. Dr. Krishna Panthi, and then the commentators Er. Tuk Lal Adhikari and Dr. Hari Shankar Shrestha made relevant comments on the importance of the presented topics.
